Bio

Grace Martin writes songs that invite you into a narrative of love, loss, and adventure. Combining soft folk melodies with her own maniac energy, she hopes to connect with those who feel deeply, especially with a banjo involved. She is creating a feel that draws inspiration from Noah Kahan, Lizzie McAlpine, and stars of the ‘90s like Alanis Norissette and Sheryl Crow.

A Vermont native, Grace has spent a surprising amount of her life outside of New England. Alaska, Guatemala, and the Southeast have all been part of her journey, but she keeps coming back to her roots: farmgirl, barefoot, fiddle music in the kitchen.

Grace also a member of old-time band Sap Line, who are performing in June and September in Vermont. Currently, she is working on her first singles which will be available this fall on all streaming platforms!
